The sheer amount of debris was a stark reminder of the power of the recent hurricanes, but our team rose to the challenge at Midnight Pass this past weekend. Although we only managed to clean about one-quarter of the area we had hoped to cover, every bit of progress made a difference. Among the wreckage left by the storms, we uncovered an incredible variety of items—Styrofoam, Chairs, and Glass. Even some surprising finds that sparked curiosity like a Refrigerator and Executive Director Ronda Ryan’s favorite find: A Plastic Pig Derrière!!
