Sarasota Bay Watch participated in World Ocean Day at Mote Marine on June 4, 2016. Ellie Martin and Erin Campbell manned the table helping kids make scallop necklaces and talking to parents and other participants about Sarasota Bay Watches’ many activities. Board member Steve Martin assisted Ronda Ryan with set up and drilled shells for the necklaces. During the event Ronda Ryan and Rusty Chinnis tabulated debris from a recent underwater clean up at the Venice Pier.
