Mangrove Cleanup at Jim Neville Marine Preserve

Saturday, February 15, 2025 @ 8:00 AM 1:00 PM

This will be a larger cleanup getting refrigerators, large pieces of dock, furniture etc.  We are looking for shallow boats, skiffs, and barges to help shuttle debris from the kayakers to the dumpster. We will provide kayaks. This will be impactful.

Our efforts to restore 5 acres of vital native habitat—supporting local wildlife—were put on hold during hurricane season. Now, we need your help to get back on track. This hands-on restoration project is a fantastic way to make a tangible impact on the environment while soaking in the natural beauty of the preserve.

What’s in it for you?

  • Help protect and restore a precious ecosystem.
  • Enjoy a rewarding day outdoors with like-minded volunteers.
  • Access to 20 kayaks for the adventure (or bring your own!).

Don’t miss this chance to connect with nature, have fun, and give back to Mother Earth. Together, we can make a difference! We can’t wait to see you there!
