Alligator Creek Clean-up

Saturday, February 8, 2025 @ 8:00 AM 12:00 PM

Alligator Creek is still recovering from the 2024 hurricane season, and we’re coming together to clear the remaining debris! Join us for a community cleanup event with support from Suncoast AquaVentures and the South Venice Yacht Club. This effort needs volunteers of all kinds, so bring the whole family and help us restore our waterways! Pizza and snacks will be provided at South Venice Yacht Club after the event.

How You Can Help:

Shoreline Assistant: Help sort, weigh, and document debris collected. Must be comfortable lifting at least 40lbs of weight.
Kayaker: Paddle through tight spots and mangrove areas to gather debris. We have 20 kayak seats to share!
Boater: Assist kayakers and transport debris. Use a tarp to protect your boat!
Photographer: Take pictures of the action and debris collected.
