2025 shows what we can accomplish together across Sarasota Bay. From removing more than 18,000 pounds of debris to restoring habitats with native plants and opening up new trails, every volunteer hour and every hands-on effort adds up to a healthier, more resilient bay. Just as meaningful is the role our youth and student leaders are playing—gaining real-world experience in marine science, conservation, and leadership that helps shape the future of bay stewardship.
Looking ahead to 2026, Sarasota Bay Watch is excited to keep this momentum going. We’re focused on expanding youth education and leadership opportunities, growing our on-the-water restoration and monitoring work, and continuing to strengthen habitats that support seagrass, shellfish, and wildlife. With ongoing community support and strong partnerships, we’re ready to build on this progress and make an even bigger difference for Sarasota Bay in the year ahead.
