What The Heck Is That . . .? A Field Guide to Treasures of Florida Gulf Bays - FIELD REFERENCE

 

A fun and informative Field Guide to marine life in Florida's Gulf Coast Bays.  Riverview High School student James Tanner Stults, with funding from the Charlotte Harbor National Estuary Program (CHNEP), support from Sarasota Bay Watch and inspiration from Sarasota County's Sea Grass Survey volunteer program, enlisted the expertise of marine scientists from CHNEP and Mote Marine Laboratory to create guide.  The guide is a collection of photographs, common and scientific names and fun facts abaout plants and animals commonly found in the bay by boaters, volunteers and students while out on the water.  To see a digital version of the field guide follow this link: FIELD GUIDE
